Veryday: Junior Designer (2018-19)
My role at Veryday was interaction designer in the service design and immersive design teams. I worked on projects focused on developing experiential and immersive concepts. I worked in a broad range of industries including education, retail, and insurance.
Veryday: Interaction Design Intern (2017)
During my time interning at Veryday in Stockholm I was a memeber of the immersive design team. I developed a skill set around using VR, AR, and creative technology to prototype experiences at various points of the design project. One of the highlights was creating and running a workshop where we used bodystorming and virtual reality to explore and prototype the crosswalk experience in a city with autonomous vehicles.
Logitech: Visual Experience Design Intern (2017)
During my time interning at Logitech in Lausanne, Switzerland I honed my graphical user interface design skills. I also gained experience in working in an in-house design team. Most of my work centered around software that accompanies core products like keyboards, mice and presenters.
UmeÅ institute of design: Masters of Fine Arts in Interaction Design (2017-2020)
Masters of Fine Art Interaction Design anticipated June 2019. Worked on projects partnering with the forestry industry in northern Sweden and Volvo.
Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design: Summer School (2016)
Four weeks of workshops including Designing for Connected Spaces, Designing for Connected Products, Design through Film, and Artefacts From the Future. Trained in rapid prototyping.
UmeÅ institute of design: Industrial Design Intensive (2015-2016)
Worked on projects focused on human centered design and within the design areas of product, service, graphic, and interaction design. My designs for a graphic design course were selected and produced by the client partner.
rip curl usa: Graphic Design Intern (2014-2015)
As an intern my design responsibilities included store window graphics, point of purchase material, and photo editing for catalogs. My role expanded into other marketing responsibilities like events and operating the printshop.
UCSC: Undergraduate degrees in Anthropology and Fine art (2008-2012)
Anthropology senior thesis explored how the transition from analog to digital forms of musical consumption has effected memory formation. A focus of this thesis was the tangible and imperfect aspects of physical formats of music.
